Control soil based pathogens & nematodes

Product Overview

NEEM POWDER is the residue that can be used after Neem seed kernels are crushed for their oil. These seed kernel contains high amount of nutrients like NPK (nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium) as well as nortriterpenoids and isoprenoids. These nutrients are nematicidal in nature so the seed cake ends up with these properties. NEEM POWDER is used in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture and the turf industry as an organic fertilizer as well as a natural nematicide. NEEM POWDER is used as an organic fertilizer because of the various micro and macro nutrients which it is composed of. It will control soil based pathogens as well as nematodes at the same time. It will also inhibit nitrification of the soil plus enhance the efficiency of nitrogen providing fertilizer.

BENEFITS OF NEEM POWDER FOR PLANTS

There are many reasons to use NEEM POWDER in your garden, but here are some of the most compelling reasons.

IT’S COMPLETELY ORGANIC & BIODEGRADABLE

Since it’s derived from the neem tree, it’s a biodegradable compound and breaks down quickly providing natural growth to your plants. Usage of NEEM POWDER leads to a significantly reduced chemical fertilizer demand. In fact, in most cases, chemical fertilizer dosage can be reduced by 25 to 30% in the first year of application of our organic fertilizer.

BETTER YIELD THAN CONVENTIONAL UREA AND FERTILIZERS

In comparison to urea which is a nutrients collector NEEM POWDER itself contains nutrients for the plants and maintain power of soil. Our studies have shown that NEEM POWDER provides better yields than conventional alternatives while preserving and improving the soil quality.

RICH SOURCE OF NPK AND OTHER MICRO NUTRIENTS

Its rich source of NPK other micro nutrients ensure to improve the soil quality. It works primarily by increasing the humus content of the soil. It is an all-purpose organic soil conditioner, ideal for low organic matter soils.

NEMATODES PREVENTION

Control Nematodes and other soil pests such as Haplolaimus indicus Helicotylenchus Sp, Pratylenchus Sp, Meloidogyne incognita, M. javanica (root knot nematode). Tylenchorhynchus Sp and Rodopholus similis. This broad spectrum defense helps roots to absorb adequate nutrient to and give better yield.

IMPROVES SOILS’ ORGANIC CONTENT

NEEM POWDER also reduces alkalinity in soil, as it produces organic acids on decomposition. Being totally natural, it is compatible with soil microbes, improves rhizosphere micro flora and hence ensures fertility of the soil. NEEM POWDER improves the organic matter content of the soil, helping improvement in soil texture, water holding capacity, soil aeration for better root development.

CAN BE COMBINED WITH OTHER FERTILIZERS

When NEEM POWDER is used with urea and other fertilizers with nitrogen in them, it increases their efficiency because NEEM POWDER reduces the rate of nitrification. That means the nitrogen is released slowly increasing the time of nitrogen presence in the soil. This makes the soil become more fertile to provide better yields.

SAFE FOR EARTHWORMS

Most conventional fertilizers/pesticides will kill off earthworms, removing a vital piece of your soil’s ecosystem. Neem won’t harm them, in fact, they’ll thrive in a neem environment.

One problem of synthetic pesticides is that bugs can build up a tolerance or resistance to certain substances. So far, it’s not been reported that insects have built up resistances to neem use, meaning it’s a future-proof solution.

DOSAGE & METHOD OF APPLICATION

NEEM POWDER is applied when you are preparing your soil for sowing. You will need to plough the soil deeply and mix the NEEM POWDER thoroughly while doing the same. This process will yield you better results with your harvest. NEEM POWDER not only works as an organic fertilizer, but it can also be used as a natural pesticide.

If you are planning to switch from a chemical fertilizer to NEEM POWDER, you will need to apply both over time still while in transition. Reduce the chemical fertilizer you are using continuously until you are just using the NEEM POWDER in place of the fertilizer.
